What content designers do in alpha

Our content designers:

• design and write content for prototypes based on research and user feedback
• consider all routes that users take into the service, and content touchpoints across all journeys
• collaborate with the UCD and wider delivery team to refine design concepts based on user feedback
• make sure content is consistent with other NHS and GOV services
• make sure content across all journeys is consistent and simple to understand
• work with policy and subject matter experts to understand what information the service must collect or provide
• support user researchers’ preparation for user testing by identifying riskiest assumptions about language and information needs
• help shape information architecture and content patterns within the service
• iterate prototypes based on findings from user research
