The following tools, methods and technologies are used in performance testing:

Platform:

• The new Performance Test Framework should be used to conduct performance testing.
• This platform allows testing in parallel across more than one service or application at a time.
• The platform currently tests services on AWS Cloud. We are currently looking at using it across services on Azure Cloud and services that may use both AWS and Azure cloud technology.

Test Tool:

• JMeter – the NHSBSA JMeter instance on the Performance Test Framework (AWS Cloud) must be used

We do not support or promote the usage of the following:

• Any other JMeter instance or framework.
• Any other performance test tool.
